Prepare a parcel record
- List the warehouse identifiers for the items you have approved.
- Record the destination and the actual contents.
- Keep item weights separate from the finished parcel weight.
- Record length, width and height after the proposed packing is known.
- Compare eligible routes and preserve the date and currency of each estimate.
Keep packing choices explicit
Write down whether original boxes, protective material or other packaging are required. A smaller parcel is useful only if the configuration is feasible and still protects the contents you intend to receive. Recheck dimensions when the configuration changes.
